PDF Only Meeting

2 min

If you have a smaller board that maybe only has a few items and they just want to use Microsoft Word to create their agenda, or want to upload meetings prior to using AgendaLink than this tip is for you. We are going to show you how you can create a meeting, upload PDFs, and then make that information available to the public with just the PDFs.

  1. Create the meeting and open it.

  2. Click "Edit" -> "Meeting Properties" (you don't have to worry about any of the agenda groups or adding topics)

  3. Upload the PDFs you have for that meeting. You will see options for the Cover Sheet (just the agenda), Agenda Packet, and Minutes. For each of these options simply click the "Upload File" button and choose the pdf.

  4. Make sure to click the checkbox under Cover Sheet and Minutes (if uploading minutes). This is what tells the platform to only show the pdf versions.

  5. Now change the status of the meeting and also update the meeting type if necessary. If you are adding minutes change that status to "Minutes", if just uploading the agenda information you will want to set it as "Complete".

  6. You can now close that meeting.

  7. To see what it looks like you can use the globe icon at the top of your screen to quickly view the public portal.
